Northglenn Channel 8 is the city’s governmental access channel, devoted to programming and videotext information to assist in informing residents about their municipal government and to encourage active participation in their community.

Through a franchise agreement with Comcast/Xfinity, residents who subscribe to Comcast/Xfinity cable service receive Channel 8 governmental programming.

In addition to a variety of video programming is the community bulletin board, providing information about programs, services, events and activities in your community and throughout the metropolitan area.

City Council Meetings

To better serve and keep our community informed of City Council actions, residents who subscribe to Comcast/Xfinity can view council meetings from the comfort of their homes on Channel 8 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Study sessions are available on the same days, at noon and following the 6 p.m. City Council meeting broadcast.

Please note that due to the varied length of city council and study session meetings, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday programming may be interrupted to provide meeting coverage.

Videos of council meetings and study sessions are also available on DVD a few days after the meetings at City Hall, 11701 Community Center Drive.
