Christmas Crusade

christmas_crusade_logo_webThe KYGO Christmas Crusade for Children brightens the spirits of children who would not otherwise receive a gift on Christmas morning and to present police officers as positive figures in their lives.

History
The program was started in 1983 by a small group of police officers calling themselves “Santa Cops”. The program has grown to include about 6,000 children across the metro area.

Delivery Process
The information on children in need is developed by officers from the Police Department. Items are purchased, and the officers deliver the items to children prior to Christmas.

Please join the Police Department in their efforts to help children in the Northglenn area this Christmas.
Donation bins for toys are set up in city facilities November through the week before the December distribution.

2024 family distribution date is Dec. 14, 8 a.m. - noon at the Justice Center.
