Free landfill days are a perfect opportunity for Northglenn residents to dispose of items that cannot fit in a trash cart.

- 7 a.m.-2 p.m.
The city typically has two free landfill days per year, one in the spring and one in the fall.
The entrance to Tower Road Landfill is located at 19260 E. 88th Ave. in Commerce City.

Rules and Regulations
- Only one load per residence
- All loads must be covered.
- Proof of residency such as a driver’s license or a current utility bill with picture ID is required.
- Appliances, including those with freon, will be accepted for free.
- Mattresses and box springs cost $36 each to drop off.
- People bringing a pickup truck or trailer face a gate charge plus taxes and fees if they have more than five cubic yards of materials.
- A safety vest must be worn when unloading; they are provided at the landfill entrance.
