Help for Homes

Help for Homes is a partnership between the city and Brothers Redevelopment, Inc. (BRI) and is funded by the Community Development Block Grant Program. The goal of the Help for Homes Program is to improve the health, safety and sanitary conditions of the homes of low and moderate-income homeowners who do not have the financial or physical ability to make the needed improvements themselves. HFH will provide assistance through either the general repair program or through the code violation referral program. The Help for Homes Program will achieve several positive results in Northglenn:

• Increase the value of homes
• Help families who otherwise would not be able to repair their homes
• Improve the appearance of the neighborhood

The city is excited about the partnership with BRI to maintain and improve the quality of living in our community. BRI is a nonprofit organization that was established in 1971. They provide a variety of housing and housing services to low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners throughout the Denver metro area. BRI, through its Home Maintenance and Repair Program, will assist the city’s HFH program by making repairs to the homes of low-and moderate-income homeowners with necessary repairs to their homes to provide accessibility modifications, address health and safety issues and remove cited code violations.
