The city has joined the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance, a statewide, multi-jurisdictional collaboration of public, private and academic sector leaders committed to accelerating the adoption of smart cities projects and initiatives. 

The Alliance collaborates to benefit residents and businesses in Colorado by enhancing quality of life through citizen-centered design and public policy, along with the deployment of 21st century technology and infrastructure. 

There is no cost to join, merely a commitment to engage in one public/private partnership per year and share the insights gained and best practices developed with other Alliance members.
