The City of Northglenn, Colorado, utilizes a regional bid notification system created for purchasing departments within the area. This bid system allows purchasing departments to post formal bids, informal quotes, requests for proposal, construction notices, addenda and awards, all on one centralized system. The cities of Aurora, Broomfield, Centennial, Englewood, Grand Junction, Lakewood and Wheat Ridge as well as Arapahoe County, Mesa County Valley School District No.51, Jefferson County and Foothills Park and Recreation District are already using this system.
The system saves the city and our vendors time and money by reducing printing, postage and mailing costs. All vendors who wish to do business with the city are encouraged to register on this bid system.
Vendors who have Internet access should review registration options online by signing on to the following web address: www.govbids.com and clicking on the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System link.
Many cities began issuing bids, quotes, amendments and awards via this system in October, 2003. If you are already registered on this system, you do NOT have to register separately for the City of Northglenn.
If you do not have Internet access, please call technical support at BidNet, 1-800-677-1997 and ask for their Vendor Support Department at extension No. 214. They will be happy to register you over the telephone.
The City of Northglenn looks forward to providing you with more bid information, less paperwork and simplifying the entire bid, proposal and quote processes for everyone involved. We appreciate your cooperation and welcome your participation, as registration on this system provides numerous benefits to your firm. Be sure to review your options to determine which is best for your business.
