“Lend a hand to public land.”

Do you enjoy Northglenn’s parks and Greenway trail system?
Do you like to work outdoors?
Would you like to meet new people?
Are you interested in flowers and gardening?

The City has many opportunities for ongoing involvement. The time commitments vary; some are on a set schedule while others are flexible. Scroll through the programs to see what interests you.
Park Partners

Do you have a favorite park? Could you commit four to six hours per month to keep it clean and beautiful? Activities may include playground cleaning, painting, pruning, weeding, or picking up trash. A super family or intergenerational project! Training is provided.
Flower Bed Partners

Flowers add color and tender loving care to a park area. If you have a green thumb or would like to learn about flowers and shrubs, perhaps you would like to identify and work in a particular park bed. You would work with the City horticulturists to design the contents of the flower bed, prepare the soil and plant the bed. Then you would care for the bed throughout the growing season (May --October).
Trail Partners

Do you walk or bike on the Greenway Trail system? Help keep a section litter free. Trash bags are provided. May also help with plantings.
Graffiti Partners

Graffiti is unwanted and needs to be removed. Volunteers are needed to remove and paint over graffiti on public and or private property. Please help us keep the Northglenn community free of graffiti.
One-Time Projects

We often host projects on Saturdays for a few hours and involve 30-50 volunteers to accomplish a major cleanup or improvement project. Usually volunteers of all ages are welcome and varied skill levels. Contact us for the calendar of dates. A little bit of time from a lot of people can move mountains!
