The City of Northglenn was visited by 134 first and second graders as they toured City facilities including City Hall, the Northglenn Recreation Center, Police Department, and the Municipal Court. The children had a hands on tour of the North Metro Fire trucks, Northglenn ambulances, sanitation equipment, street sweeper, park maintenance equipment, water trucks, and a lift truck.

At the end of the tour the kids participated in a community service project by cleaning up the E. B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park. It was a day full of learning and fun!

Snowplow Routes

The city is divided into four main sections for snow plowing. You will notice each section is colored differently on the map. Click on the City Map and you can view the four sections. If possible, crews will be assigned to the same route each snowstorm throughout the winter season. This will allow crews to become familiar with their routes and any trouble spots within those areas, which will result in more efficient snow plowing efforts. Streets are plowed according to the priorities established within the specific area, with arterials being first.
