The Secret Garden
Produced by special arrangement with Missoula Children’s Theatre
Conceived and Written by Michael McGill
Music and Lyrics by Michael McGill
The Secret Garden, an original Missoula Children’s Theatre rendition, is a joyful retelling of a story of hope and celebration and all good things in life. Mistress Mary Quite Contrary embarks on a journey from India to her uncle’s home in England. Along the way she makes friends with the hilarious Canadian Geese and the colorful Giant Bugs that Rock! In time she learns to appreciate everything around her, including the Moor Animals and the helpful Fireflies. Add to that a good healthy dose of caring, and what happens? Colin, Martha, Archibald–well the whole household–begin to enjoy the return of health and happiness in a garden carefully tended … until it blossoms once more. Sponsored by SCFD, NAHF, and the City of Northglenn.

A Midsummer Night’s Midterm
Produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Services
Adapted by Robert W. LaVohn
As four high school friends gather to cram for a midterm on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the play comes to life before their eyes... literally! The story unfolds before the teens, as Lysander and Demetrius compete for Hermia’s attention and Helena attempts to capture Demetrius’s attention. When the faeries and Bottom and his players show up, the students work even harder to understand this delightfully convoluted story. All the plot, all the wit and all the magic of one of the Bard’s most popular plays is presented here along with light-hearted commentary! Finally, a Shakespeare play that everyone can understand and enjoy! Sponsored by SCFD, NAHF, and the City of Northglenn.
