Please Toss Snow Onto Lawns, Not Streets

When shoveling snow, please toss it onto your lawn so it benefits from the extra water. Don’t put the snow in the street or gutter; this can cause slick roads and ice dams.

If you see ice and snow building up in the gutter, please break it up to keep the melt flowing. And remember, remove snow from your sidewalk within 48 hours after the weather clears. This is for the safety of pedestrians, motorists and residents.
