Interested in helping local families in need this holiday season?

Donations are welcome at the recreation center, yet with COVID-19 we know venturing out may not be an option.

Here are two ways to give online. Any amount helps, need is high this year!

Northglenn Community Foundation: Supporting Northglenn families facing financial hardship with utility assistance and grocery gift cards during the holiday season.

KYGO Christmas Crusade: Providing families throughout the metro area (including Northglenn) with gifts for children thanks to police department partners. https://kygo.com/christmascrusade/

Through Nov. 20, the city is collecting warm clothing. This includes winter coats, new socks, winter beanies/skull caps, gloves and emergency/solar blankets (they look like metal foil). Then from Nov. 23 to Dec. 18, we'll be taking new toys and nonperishable food. All donations will be given to people in the north metro area. Donations may be dropped off at Northglenn Recreation Center, 11801 Community Center Drive.
