Support Sought for New Jaycee Park Lights

The city is applying for a grant with Adams County Open Space for ball field light improvements at Jaycee Park – but we could use your help!

Plans include upgrading the electrical system and replacing the existing ball field lighting with a new, more efficient LED lighting system that meets modern standards. Located at Leroy Drive and Irma Drive, Jaycee Park is home to Northglenn's only lit softball/baseball field. Adult and youth leagues play there constantly throughout the spring, summer, and fall. This project would cut electricity costs, optimize visibility of a ball in play, and reduce glare onto property around the park.

Letters of support from you – our community members – greatly increase the likelihood of a grant request receiving funding.  Please email them to jberry@northglenn.org by March 26. You can also mail the letters to the City of Northglenn at 11701 Community Center Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233, attention Juliana Berry.

If you have any questions please reach out to Parks Project Manager Juliana Berry at jberry@northglenn.org, or the Planning Department at development@northglenn.org.
