On April 16, the Northglenn Urban Renewal Authority (NURA) purchased property at 11221 and 11215 Washington Street for future redevelopment opportunities. The property was bought for $500,000.
All the tenants were provided a relocation package, and four of the five have been relocated to new Northglenn locations:
- Elegant Ink leased a suite at the Phenix Salon Suites, located at 10620 Melody Drive, Unit F.
- High Tide Liquor leased 1,488 square feet at 1416 W. 104th Ave. and plans to open in June.
- Toro Taxes leased 550 square feet at 1490 Roseanna Drive.
- V's Unique Salon leased 690 square feet at 11684 Huron St., Building 2, Unit 103B.
This property was eyed by the NURA board as a priority redevelopment property within the next three to five years. The goal will be to identify a developer or end-user to redevelop this area, which will positively enhance both the Washington Street and East 112th Avenue corridors.
What does NURA DO?
