Northglenn Arts & Humanities Foundation (NAHF) is pleased to announce the installation of six new sculptures at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park. The works were selected by a diverse volunteer committee to be a part of the 2022/23 Art on Parade program and are on exhibit at the park for one year.
Works and artists chosen for the 2022/23 season include:
- Walking a Tight Line by Jodie Bliss (CO)
- American Steel Eagle by Vanny Channal (CO)
- Cold Moon by Sandy Friedman (CO)
- Icosahedron by Kirk Seese (MA)
- Dancing Moon Rollers by Reven Swanson (CO)

The annual Art on Parade program is an on-loan outdoor sculpture exhibit funded by NAHF and the Adams County Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). Artists loan their pieces to the program for one year, and park patrons are asked to vote for their favorite either by paper ballots available at the Northglenn Recreation Center or online at http://northglennarts.org/public-art/art-on-parade/. The deadline to vote is Friday, Nov. 11, 2022.
The sculpture with the most votes is dubbed “The People’s Choice” and will be purchased by NAHF and gifted to the City of Northglenn for permanent placement in the city. Sculptures are also available for sale to the public.
The sculptures are on exhibit at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park through May of 2023. The park is located at 11701 Community Center Drive; one-half mile south of 120th Ave. and Grant St. in Northglenn.
