The city has benches and shelters in many of its 25 parks, and the vast majority of them are free for people to use at any time for parties and get-togethers.
Renting a PavilionReservations can be made to ensure the use of a pavilion at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park and Danahy Park. All reservations are posted at the respective pavilion. If the pavilion is not reserved, it is open to use on a first-come, first-served basis, as are the pavilions in the other parks in Northglenn.
- E.B. Rains Pavilions is available from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. If both time periods are desired, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., the fee is doubled.
- The Danahy Park pavilion is available from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.
- Reservations done from November - February need to be done in person at the Northglenn Recreation Center or over the phone at 303.450.8800.

- Located on the northwest side of the park, can fit up to 50 people on four 8-foot tables
- Blue Spruce
- Located on southeastern side of park, has electricity and seats 72
- Ponderosa
- Located on southwestern side of park, has electricity and seats 72.
- Tumbleweed
- Located close to Sensory Playground. Can fit up to 50 people on four 8-foot tables.
- Sagebrush
- Located close to Sensory Playground. Can fit up to 50 people on four 8-foot tables.
- Snowberry
- Located close to restrooms. Can fit up to 50 people on four 8-foot tables.
- Dogwood
- Located close to boat dock on west side of park. Can fit up to 50 people on four 8-foot tables.
- Juniper
- Most secluded pavilion, located in northwest area of park. Can fit up to 50 people on four 8-foot tables.

- All pavilion rentals are subject to a damage deposit of $50 that is refundable after three business days.
- Special events that have a heavy impact on the park and require additional maintenance is limited to two hours of use and is subject to a Park Usage Fee of $100 for residents and $150 for non-residents.
- Damage deposits are refundable if no damage is found.
- Refunds are available with advance 14-day notice.
- For inclement weather cancellations, customers may choose an alternate date during the same calendar year. No weather refunds will be given.
