This Year's Featured Artist - Alice Bourdykina-Jelobniouk
Alice Bourdykina-Jelobniouk is a Ukranian-American artist that currently lives in Sacramento, California. Alice comes from a family of fine artists, interior designers, graphic designers, illustrators and architects. In a fit of rebellion, Alice shifted to political analysis as her as profession, enjoying art as a hobby instead. Her preferred mediums are ink, pencil, marker, chalk, and acrylic.  Recently, Alice has enjoyed developing art with watercolor pen.

Alice's artwork is usually inspired by beautiful landscapes, flowers, and birds. With the recent war in Ukraine, where most of her family lives, Alice’s work has shifted to acknowledge and celebrate her culture.  Alice’s work now often incorporates Ukrainian motifs, such as sunflowers and embroidered patterns in her work to bring her heritage to life and spread awareness of the struggles taking place within her community.
