Farmers' High Line Canal Clean Up

event detail caption Date: March 4, 9-11 a.m. (snow date March 11)
event detail caption Location: Locations Throughout Northglenn

DESCRIPTION

Join us for the Farmer's Highline Canal Cleanup, where over 200 volunteers annually work together to clean up our canal system and bike trails system to keep our city looking nicer through the spring and summer.  The cleanup needs to be before April 1 each year as that is when the Farmer's Highline Canal refills for the summer months.

Volunteers  will help clean canals, trails and parks. We collect more than 300 bags of trash each year plus large items including tires, carts, and other random bits.

Clean up sites are throughout Northglenn.  Using the interactive map below click to see which location most appeals to you (either something in your neighborhood, near your business, or near your school).   Zoom in on the map and click on the different volunteer locations - each one matches a name and number.  Use the "register here" button to sign up on our list matching the name/number on the map to the name/number on the registration area.  If you do not have a preference just click "no preference" and we will assign you.  More details about the event can also be found on the registration page.  Signing up in advance helps in our planning for the day.
